Sono trent’anni che Albert Hera abita il mondo della musica. Nasce come saxofonista e solo in seguito, a ventiquattro anni, scopre nella voce il suo vero “strumento”. Demetrio Stratos e Bobby Mcferrin divengono i suoi mentori ispirando il suo percorso artistico che si sviluppa prevalentemente nel mondo della ricerca e della didattica, esplorando le innumerevoli sonorità dei vari generi musicali, dal canto lirico dove muove i primi passi, a quello della world Music, Jazz e contemporanea. E’ insegnante all’istituto civico musicale Baravalle di Fossano (Cn) dove collabora col maestro Antonio Juvarra nella ricerca didattica. Collabora inoltre con Roger Treece (arrangiatore e membro delle Voicestra di Bobby Mc Ferrin) con il quale ha organizzato diversi seminari di “Circelsong” in Italia, di cui è uno dei maggiori esponenti nella ricerca e nell’esecuzione. Nelle “Circlesong” egli diviene fondamentalmente un vero e proprio culto per i musicisti, insegnanti, allievi di ogni genere che partecipano sempre numerosi ai seminari che tiene in tutta Italia. Dal 2004 è invitato alla rassegna “Omaggio a Demetrio Stratos” come maggior esponente per la ricerca nelle sonorità vocali e come ideatore del seminario "Lo strumento voce" creato insieme all'etnomusicologo Tran Quang Hai. Nel 2005, 2007, 2009 partecipa come relatore al convegno “LA VOCE ARTISTICA” di Franco Fussi. Nel 2007 e nel 2008 è invitato alle rassegne sulla didattica “EMOM” (European Master of Music) e “LECCOARTLAB CLINICS”. Ha recentemente lavorato con Bobby McFerrin al progetto “Bobble” presentato all’importante “Stimmen Festival” in Germania, insieme con altri diciannove cantanti provenienti da tutto il mondo. Paragonabile a un pittore di talento, oltre che vero ispiratore per decine di giovani cantanti emergenti, ha sempre accolto nel suo mondo espressivo generi e linguaggi diversi, utilizzandoli spontaneamente, facendone “colori” sulla sua personalissima tavolozza vocale.

Albert Hera has been living in world of music since 30 years. He started as saxophonist but he discovered his real instrument, the voice, when he was 24 years. Demetrio Stratos and Bobby Mcferrin became his mentors. They inspired the artist during his artistic path that arises above all in research and in didactics. He explored the countless sonorities of different genres of music, taking his first steps in opera and exploring world music, jazz and contemporary music. He teaches at “Baravalle Music Institute” of Fossano (Piedmont), where he collaborates with Maestro Antonio Juvarra about didactics research. He also worked with Roger Treece (arranger and member of Bobby Mcfeerin’s Voicestra).with whom he organized several “ Circlesong”seminars in Italy:he is actually one of the major exponents as regards research and performance. In “Circlesong” he basically become a full-blown cult for musicians, teachers and students of any sort that are always numerous in seminars that he organizes all over Italy. Since 2004 he is invited at “Tribute to Demetrio Stratos Festival”as main exponent as regards research of vocal sonorities and as creator of the seminar “The voice as an instrument” created with Tran Quang Hal, ethnomusicologist. He took part as speaker in the Franco Fussi’s conference “The artistic voice” in 2005,2007 and 2009. In 2007 and 2008 he is invited at some important reviews on didactics like “EMOM” (European Master of music) and “LECCOARTLABCLINICS”. He has recently worked with Bobby McFerrin in “Bobble project” performed at Stimmen Festival (Germany) with others 19 singers coming from whole wild world. He inspires a lot of young emergent singers, he can be comparable to a talented painter: he has always used different genres and languages in his expressive world like colours of his own palette that he uses in his personal way.
